Metropolitan Family Hotel - Milano Marittima

What I especially liked about the hotel Metropolitan is that it is located directly on the beach, in the most tranquil area of Milano Marittima, surrounded by a centuries-old pinewood which extends luxuriantly down to the sea so we good get a good nights rest! We also chose this elegant hotel as it is completely air-conditioned and has anice American bar, veranda and shaded gazebo. The hotel's wellness center Wellness & Beauty, also accessible from the pool, is equipped with sauna, Turkish bath, gym with fitness equipment, Jacuzzi, relaxation area and I enjoyed the beauty and massage treatments! Fantastic Hotel .. have been here for seven days with my wife and daughter and we are very satisfied,. The hotel is spacious, has modern rooms with balconies overlooking the sea and above all very clean. The swimming pool and direct access to the beach makes it so convenient !!!. The restaurant is run flawlessly, we ate really well with a great choice of regional fresh dishes and , with plenty of choice and a varied buffet and plentiful. All the staff are friendly but also very knowledgeable. A special thanks to Mario, Graziano and Valerio who are to be commended for their excellent customer service skills as they made made us feel all very welcome and their attention to details and professionalism helped make this a perfect holiday. !! Hotel was probably build and renovated in 90th , therefore it's not modern design however it's clean and tidy. Personal is doing what they can to make a good value for money we've paid, even it's very difficult times for Italian economy in general. We've stayed one week with 'full board' and dishes were varied and well cooked. We had a new towels and sheets every day. Hotel has a big parking place and it's absolutely not a problem to find a place for your car. Special Thanks for us and our kids to Russian speaking young lady at reception- Violetta

Hotel needs a minor renovation at reception which gives you impression as a hotel ‘first look’ - carpets looks old, therefore they could be removed or renewed. We have no coffee & tea machine at restaurant (1st floor), were we have our lunch & dinner and it should be at least 2 of them in restaurant. One more coffee machine need to be placed at breakfast area. It’s a bit difficult to get access to single machine when it’s a lots of people at hotel. To have one more free coffee machine at reception would be an advantage, since it’s used to be a 4 star hotel. Based on above 4 additional coffee machines need to be purchased.

Convenient location to great beach and park. Great staff, very corteus and helpfull. They even had one Russian-speaking member that was very helpful on many occasions. Very nice public stays there, for most part all Northern Italians and Russians (like us). Food selection was great. Free parking also was quite useful. We spent 3 weeks there and had full board and enjoyed meny selections till our last day.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent position right on the beach. Facilities very good and food at breakfast in plentiful supply. A good 10 minute walk into the centre of Milano Marrittima but no real issue as you can walk along the beach to get there

Unable to understand why babies as young as a few months old were alowed to scream constantly in the Restaurant and elsewhere. Without any comment from staff or Management. The holiday was not as good as we experienced at the Hotel in 2005 when the Menus and Sunbed facilities on the beach were much better.
